What is PO-SME?
PO-SME is an offering of newly issued shares for being a Live Exchange listed company, as well as an offering of the securities of a Live Exchange Market listed company of small and medium enterprises and start-up enterprises.
Offering of shares under the PO – SME scheme is a fundraising option for SMEs or startups that have registered as a public limited company to be able to issue shares for sale to investors as specified without having to submit an application for permission to the SEC, but still have to submit a registration statement (“Filing”) to the SEC via the specified system.
The company′s properties and information disclosed in the filing are less stringent than those of a typical PO offering. For the relevant fundraising and offering regulations, the Securities and Exchange Commission has issued a new regulation, namely, Notification of Securities and Exchange Commission No. TorJor. 71/2564 re: the offer of newly issued shares by a public limited company to be listed on the Stock Exchange of Thailand, and the offering of securities of companies listed on the Stock Exchange of Thailand, as well as other notifications newly issued or updated to support PO-SME.
