Sawita Suwansawat

Sawita is Founder & CEO at MSC Law. She focuses on capital markets and securities, corporate governance, board advisory and mergers & acquisitions in the power, corporate, infrastructure real estate and telecommunications sectors. She has over 16 years of experience in advising clients on capital markets and securities legal matters in Thailand. Her work has assisted many clients in diverse industries including property developers, food processors and airlines, and she has counseled in relation to initial public offerings on domestic and international markets under Rule 144A/Regulation S, the Rules and Regulations of the SGX-ST and Singapore Code of Corporate Governance 2012 as well as those required by the Stock Exchange of Thailand (SET). 

Previously, Sawita was a senior associate at Weerawong, Chinnavat and Partners Ltd. and a senior attorney at Hunton Andrews Kurth (Thailand) Limited. Sawita obtained an LL.B. degree from Thammasat University, an LL.M. degree (International Trade Law) from the University of Essex, UK and a Master of Public and Private Management degree from the National Institute of Development Administration.

Sawita has been recognized by Asia-Pacific Legal 500 as Next Generation Lawyer in the areas of Corporate Governance and Capital Market in 2016, 2017 and 2018 respectively, and as Next Generation Partner in the area of Capital Market in 2019.

She is a member of Thai Institution of Directors (IOD) and received Director Accreditation Program (DAP) 168/2020 and Director Certification Program (DCP) 292/2020. Recently, she has been a member of the Director Pool provided by the State Enterprise Policy Office (SEPO). She takes role as an Independent Director, Audit Committee and Risk Management Committee at I-Tail Corporation PCL., Director at MSC Auction Co., Ltd., Director at Clean & Go Co., Ltd., Director at Ramsia 2020 Co., Ltd., Director at Do Day One Co., Ltd. and Director at Spideration Co., Ltd.
