Thailand Digital Arrival Card (TDAC) Implementation

Effective May 1, 2025, Thailand will implement the Thailand Digital Arrival Card (TDAC) system nationwide, replacing all paper-based immigration forms. This new digital platform will be mandatory for all international travelers entering the Kingdom through any port of entry.
The TDAC system allows visitors to complete arrival documentation electronically prior to travel via the official Thailand Immigration portal or mobile application. Travelers must submit personal information, passport details, accommodation information, and travel itinerary at least 24 hours before arrival.
Upon completion, travelers receive a unique QR code which must be presented to immigration officers upon entry. The system aims to reduce processing times by up to 70% and eliminate approximately 10 million paper forms annually, supporting Thailand’s environmental sustainability initiatives.
Foreign visitors are advised to familiarize themselves with the new requirements before traveling to Thailand after the implementation date to ensure a smooth entry process.
